Tampa bay lightning’s Sean Day: Inks deal with Tampa,Rotowire  AUG 1, 2021

signed a one-year, two-way contract with Lightning on Sunday.

The 23-year-old has played professionally in the AHL and ECHL since the 2018-19 season, most recently producing a career-high 15 points in 29 games last year with AHL Syracuse. Given that level of production, one would assume Day would have a shot at the NHL roster this season, but the Lightning are deep on the blue line, so we wouldn’t expect him to make a fantasy impact anytime soon.

Barre-Boulet secured a three-year, $2.275 million contract with Tampa Bay on Friday.
